Souls Harbor Joplin

Souls Harbor of Joplin is a Christ-centered, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 817 South Main Street in downtown Joplin, Missouri, providing transitional housing, emergency shelter, and comprehensive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Founded in 1982 by Dr. Art Jones and his family, the organization operates multiple programs including structured housing designed to promote self-sufficiency, a food pantry serving a four-state area, a free community thrift store with clothing and household items, and daily meals for residents and the public. Souls Harbor receives no government funding and is entirely supported by donations from churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals committed to serving the homeless population in the Joplin community.
