Community Assistance Council/LincWorks

Founded in 1976, Community Assistance Council (CAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in south Kansas City at 10901 Blue Ridge Boulevard that empowers individuals and families toward self-sufficiency through emergency assistance, education, and advocacy. The organization serves approximately 80,000 residents across South Kansas City neighborhoods, offering programs including emergency rent and utility assistance, food pantry services, clothing closet, case management, life skills classes, and Meals on Wheels. Recently named Harvesters’ Agency of the Year, CAC assists over 4,000 individuals annually and operates the only allergy- and Celiac-friendly food pantry in Missouri.
