Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Care Center

The Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Care Center, located at the UMKC Student Union in Kansas City, Missouri, is a campus resource center that opened in May 2022 to address food insecurity among students, faculty, and staff. The center houses the Kangaroo Pantry, which provides free food assistance and distributes essential resources to support basic needs, and was established through donations to the Dr. Raj Bala Agrawal Memorial Fund and a personal endowment created by Chancellor Mauli Agrawal and his wife Sue Agrawal in honor of the Chancellor’s mother, an educator who valued community engagement.
