Harvesters – The Community Food Network

Harvesters—The Community Food Network is a nonprofit regional food bank headquartered at 3801 Topping Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, serving a 27-county area across northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. Founded in 1979, Harvesters distributes more than 50 million pounds of food and household products annually to over 900 nonprofit partners including food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, and children’s homes, providing food assistance to more than 226,000 people each month. The organization’s mission is to mobilize the power of the community to create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes of hunger.
