KC Soul Pantry

KC Soul Pantry is a community food pantry initiative founded by Kristin Hatch and Delania Miller that provides 24/7 access to food, books, sundries, and knitted goods through small red pantries located throughout the Kansas City metro area. Operating on a simple “take what you need, give what you can” basis with no paperwork or judgment, the organization has grown from its original location to include multiple pantries across Kansas City. The pantries serve as neighbor-helping-neighbor community spaces designed to address food insecurity while allowing individuals to maintain dignity and autonomy in accessing resources they need.
