The Hope Center KC

The Hope Center KC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth and community development organization dedicated to transforming Kansas City’s east side through asset-based programming, family outreach, and youth leadership initiatives. Located at 2800 E Linwood Boulevard, the organization has served the community for more than 23 years, offering free after-school programs for children and youth ages 5-18, housing initiatives, and partnerships with Hope Leadership Academy charter school and Hope Family Care Clinic. The Hope Center also operates The Gathering KC, a renovated church event venue, and has built community spaces including a state-of-the-art playground and outdoor basketball courts.
