Walsworth Community Center

The Walsworth Community Center, located at 124 E Ritchie Avenue in Marceline, Missouri, is the county’s premier banquet and meeting space serving the community and surrounding areas. Founded in 1984 by the Marceline Centennial Committee and formally incorporated in 1995, the center was built through dedicated volunteer fundraising efforts and opened to the public in 2001 with a 13,440 square-foot facility that was expanded in 2008 to 14,272 square feet. Named in honor of the generous donations from the Walsworth family, the center features a large multipurpose room with two regulation basketball courts for youth recreation, offers conference facilities, and hosts diverse entertainment including concerts, banquets, corporate events, and community activities.
