Labarque Creek Conservation Area

Labarque Creek Conservation Area is a 1,285-acre protected natural area in Jefferson County near Pacific, Missouri, managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Established in 2005 and opened to public use in 2007, the conservation area features rugged forested hills, steep valleys, and canyons centered around LaBarque Creek, a tributary of the Meramec River that supports 54 fish species and diverse aquatic life. The area offers hiking trails, fishing, hunting, and opportunities for bird watching, serving as an important ecological corridor and outdoor destination for the region.
