Southern Platte Emergency Assistance Center (SPEAC)

Southern Platte Emergency Assistance Center (SPEAC) was founded in 1989 to address hunger in Southern Platte County, Missouri, and operates a free food pantry located at 819 Main Street in Parkville. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization staffed entirely by volunteers, SPEAC provides groceries to individuals and families in need, serving all residents of Platte County regardless of income level. The organization partners with local churches and civic organizations to fulfill its mission of alleviating food insecurity in the community.
