Crossing Outreach St. Joseph

The Crossing Outreach is a nonprofit ministry located at 629 South 8th Street in Saint Joseph, Missouri, dedicated to supporting the community’s most vulnerable members through multiple programs including emergency shelter, a nutrition center providing free food and hygiene items, and a re-entry program for individuals recovering from addiction or transitioning from incarceration. Founded in response to a 2018 gap in homeless services for single adults, the organization has expanded to operate a multi-program campus focused on crisis intervention, stabilization, and workforce development. The Crossing Outreach recently opened a new community center at 613 S. 7th Street to further enhance services and support for those experiencing homelessness.
