The Crossing Outreach Ministry Food Distribution Facility

The Crossing Outreach Ministry is a nonprofit organization located at 615 South 7th Street in Saint Joseph, Missouri, dedicated to serving the most vulnerable members of the community through multiple programs including emergency shelter, job training, and housing for men re-entering from incarceration. The organization’s Nutrition Center provides weekly access to fresh food including produce, dairy, and meat at no cost to Buchanan County residents, sourcing items from local grocery stores and Second Harvest Food Bank. Since opening in July 2019, The Crossing has established itself as a critical community partner addressing food insecurity and homelessness through integrated services and workforce development.
