Shepherd’s Nook – Food Distribution Center

Shepherd’s Nook is the region’s largest food distribution center, serving over 1,400 residents monthly across a 30-county area of southern Missouri from its location at 701 N. Main Street in Salem, MO. Operated by the Lifeway Center Inc, a nonprofit organization, the pantry is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers and funded by community donations. The center provides emergency food distribution including fresh produce, dairy, and protein to individuals and families facing food insecurity, with regular hours running Tuesday through Thursday from 8 AM to 11:30 AM beginning the second week of each month.
