Humane Society of Southwest Missouri

The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated in 1956 and located at 3161 W Norton Rd in Springfield, MO. As Southwest Missouri’s largest no-kill shelter, the organization rescues dogs and cats and finds them permanent, loving homes while operating educational programs that promote animal welfare. The shelter is funded entirely by private donations and offers community services including spay and neuter programs, low-cost veterinary wellness clinics, dog training classes, and vaccination clinics.
