The Connecting Grounds

The Connecting Grounds is a nonprofit organization and interdenominational church located at 3000 West Chestnut Expressway in north Springfield, Missouri, dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness and poverty. The organization operates a Community Outreach Center providing no-barrier access to warm meals, clothing, survival gear, and community resources, while also conducting street outreach efforts to support the unsheltered community. Founded with a mission to address gaps in community care through compassion and justice, The Connecting Grounds actively engages the community and partners with local organizations to make a positive impact on Springfield.
