The PTA Clothing Bank

The PTA Clothing Bank, operated by the Springfield Council of PTAs, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free essential clothing and shoes to Springfield Public Schools students who qualify for free or reduced lunch or are referred by school staff. Located at the Study Alternative Center on West Olive Street, the Clothing Bank serves more than 2,000 students annually and is staffed entirely by volunteers with 100% of donations directed toward purchasing clothing. The organization partners with the Kiwanis Shoe Bank to provide footwear to eligible students and operates throughout the school year on designated Thursdays.
