Food Bank

St. Louis Area Foodbank is a nonprofit member of Feeding America that works to increase access to nutritious food while improving the quality of life for neighbors in need. Located in the St. Louis bi-state region, the organization partners with nearly 600 hunger-relief programs including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and residential programs to distribute food to hundreds of thousands of people annually across 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois. The Foodbank also operates community initiatives such as Food on the Move, a mobile pantry program that provides fresh, healthy food to transit riders and area residents at Metro Transit Centers throughout St. Louis City and County.
