St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church is a parish community in Shrewsbury, Missouri, that serves as a fellowship for shared worship among Catholics in the St. Louis area. The church was founded as an ethnic German-speaking parish and broke ground for its current stone church building in 1939, which was dedicated by Archbishop Glennon in 1940. The parish has been integral to the community’s spiritual and educational life, operating a school that served hundreds of students before becoming part of Holy Cross Academy in 2012.
