The Wellston Center

The St. Augustine Wellston Center is a Catholic, independent, community-based nonprofit founded in 1992 to serve low-income families in North St. Louis through a food pantry, thrift store, and social services. Located at 1705 Kienlen Avenue, the center provides nutritious food, utility assistance, clothing, and support for seniors to families in four zip codes spanning North County and North St. Louis. The organization combats food insecurity by providing 5-7 days of healthy food each month to hundreds of families, complemented by a thrift store offering affordable household items and clothing.
