Samaritan Outreach Center

Founded in 1988, the Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center is a nonprofit organization located at 715 Missouri Avenue in West Plains, Missouri that provides emergency shelter, a daily soup kitchen, and food and diaper assistance to individuals and families facing homelessness. The organization operates a 36-bed shelter serving up to seven surrounding counties and offers transitional housing with support services designed to help residents achieve self-sufficiency and reenter society with dignity.
