Bigfork Food Bank

In operation since 1983, the Bigfork Food Bank is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to providing food assistance to families in the Bigfork area and surrounding communities. Run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff, the food bank distributes donated and purchased food including both perishable and nonperishable items to eligible families, and uniquely provides firewood to clients—a service unavailable at other food banks in Montana. Supported completely by community donations with no government funding, the Bigfork Food Bank relies on the generosity of local churches and volunteers who contribute thousands of hours annually to serve their neighbors.
