Center Pole Food Bank

The Center Pole is a Native nonprofit organization founded in 1999, located on the Crow Indian Reservation in Garryowen, Montana. Operating as a food bank and community hub, the organization distributes over one million pounds of recovered food annually across the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations while also providing meals, elder services, and educational programs focused on food sovereignty and traditional knowledge. The Center Pole's mission extends beyond food distribution to building knowledge, justice, opportunity, and prosperity in Native communities while preserving Indigenous knowledge and ways.
