Povarello Center – Food Distribution Center

The Poverello Center is a nonprofit organization in Missoula, Montana that has served the community for over 40 years, providing food, shelter, and support services to people experiencing hunger and homelessness. The organization operates a food distribution center and serves nutritious meals daily through its food program, which also includes a food rescue initiative that recovers surplus food from local stores to reduce waste. As the only emergency shelter within a 100-mile radius serving people experiencing homelessness, the Poverello Center plays a vital role in addressing poverty and food insecurity in Missoula and surrounding areas.
