About
Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) is a nonprofit community action agency founded in 1965 to address poverty in Nebraska’s Panhandle region, serving Box Butte, Cherry, Dawes, Sheridan, and Sioux Counties with a primary office in Alliance. The organization provides emergency assistance and support services including rental assistance, utility bill payment help, food pantry services, prescription assistance, and housing support for homeless or near-homeless individuals. NCAP also offers Head Start programs for low-income children and manages public transportation services across the region.
