Caring Cupboards

Harlan County Caring Cupboard Inc is a nonprofit organization located at 807 Main Street in Alma, Nebraska, dedicated to meeting the basic needs of county residents through food vouchers, clothing, and household items. The organization operates a food pantry, provides Christmas gifts and dinner boxes for families in need, and serves as a referral point for the sheriff’s office to assist indigent community members. Staffed by dedicated volunteers, the Caring Cupboard works closely with local and regional partners including the Mid-Nebraska Food Bank and serves roughly 60 families annually.
