Central Nebraska Community Services

Central Nebraska Community Services is a nonprofit community action agency that was created in 1965 as a result of President Johnson’s Economic Opportunity Act, with a Central City office located at 715 16th Street. The organization serves North Central Nebraska through comprehensive programs including weatherization, housing assistance, Head Start, WIC clinics, emergency assistance, and various family support services, with the mission to empower individuals and families toward self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
