First Congregational Church

First Congregational Church is a United Church of Christ congregation located at 301 West Franklin Street in Hartington, Nebraska, serving the Cedar County area. Established in September 1917 through a federation of Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Episcopalian churches to help struggling denominations survive, the church held its first services on September 24, 1917, with 52 charter members. The congregation completed a new church building in 1963 and continues to welcome the community to participate in worship and Christian service.
