F Street Community Center

F Street Community Center, part of Lincoln Parks and Recreation, is a community hub located at 1225 F Street in Lincoln, NE that serves children, adults, and senior citizens. Originally built as a fire station in 1924 and converted to a recreation center in 1967, the facility offers a gymnasium, indoor track, fitness room, billiards, table tennis, foosball, and pickleball courts. The center provides youth enrichment programs, free dinners for children ages 2-18, adult classes including English conversation and art studio, and senior activities, while also hosting community events such as toy drives and food distribution through its Neighborhood FOOD program.
