Little Free Pantry
About
Little Free Pantry is a community-driven initiative with multiple pantries located throughout Lincoln, Nebraska that provides free food and essential items to neighbors in need. Founded by Michael Reinmiller, the movement operates on a simple principle of “take what you need, leave what you can,” with volunteers and community groups maintaining and stocking pantries at over 40 locations across the city. The pantries are weather and animal-proof structures stocked with non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and paper goods, supported by donations from individuals, churches, work groups, and local organizations committed to addressing food insecurity.
