Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko) – Food Distribution Center

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 that serves the Lincoln, Nebraska community by providing daily meals, housing support, and prevention services to individuals experiencing hunger and homelessness. Operating from its location at 2121 N. 27th Street, MTKO provides more than 100,000 meals annually, along with comprehensive outreach services including case management, substance use counseling, life skills training, and connections to community resources. As Lincoln’s only community kitchen and outreach center with prevention services on-site, the organization plays a unique role in addressing both hunger and homelessness while advocating for the city’s working poor and homeless population.
