Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach is a nonprofit organization in Lincoln, Nebraska dedicated to relieving hunger, overcoming homelessness, and addressing addiction through comprehensive community services. The organization serves as Lincoln’s only community kitchen, providing over 263,000 meals annually to the working poor and homeless, supplemented by a Fresh Choice Pantry, permanent and transitional housing programs, case management services, substance abuse counseling, and life skills training. Operating 365 days a year with meals served from 11:30 am–12:30 pm and 5:30 pm–6:30 pm daily, Matt Talbot relies heavily on volunteer hunger relief teams and outreach staff to connect individuals with resources and support that extend beyond basic meal provision.
