Muchachos Lil Pantry

Muchachos Lil Pantry is a community food pantry initiative launched by Muchachos restaurant in downtown Lincoln in response to SNAP benefit cuts during a government shutdown. The pantry, housed in the restaurant's former merchandise shelf, distributes bread, canned goods, and non-perishable items on a no-questions-asked basis to community members in need. Muchachos restaurant owner Nick Maestas created this initiative alongside free "SNAPadilla" quesadillas to help neighbors struggling with food insecurity, and continues operating the pantry as long as the community needs it.
