About
SENCA (Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership) operates Head Start programs in Nebraska City, along with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and Outreach services. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 1966 and headquartered in Humboldt, SENCA works across five counties serving economically disadvantaged families. In Nebraska City, SENCA provides early childhood development programs including full-day and part-day Head Start classes for children ages 3-5, court-appointed child advocacy through CASA volunteers, and emergency assistance through the Otoe County Outreach program for families facing rent, utility, or food insecurity.
