North Platte High School Mobile Pantry

The North Platte High School Mobile Pantry, operated by North Platte Public Schools in partnership with the Food Bank of the Heartland, provides free boxed food and fresh produce to families and individuals facing food insecurity in the community. The program began in the gymnasium six years ago to combat food insecurity and transitioned to a drive-thru mobile format during the pandemic, operating monthly since 2019 with the support of volunteers from North Platte Public Schools and the community.
