City Sprouts Inc. – Food Distribution Center

City Sprouts is a nonprofit community garden and urban farm established in 1995 in the Orchard Hill neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska, serving as the city's oldest community garden. The organization uses urban agriculture as a platform to develop equitable food systems, provide educational opportunities, and build community, while also offering workshops and educational programming on gardening, sustainability, and healthy living. In addition to their main operations, City Sprouts has established a "Porch Pantry" with a community fridge stocked weekly with staples to address food insecurity in the community.
