Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church Food Pantry

Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church Food Pantry, a ministry of the historic Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha, operates a guest-choice food pantry located at 2650 Farnam Street between the midtown and downtown areas. Serving approximately 1,766 guests per month through the efforts of more than 70 volunteers, the pantry provides free food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, with over 40% of guests being children. The pantry operates as part of the larger Kountze Commons facility, which opened in October 2017 and also houses the Healing Gift Free Clinic and other community services.
