Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue, Inc

Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue, Inc. is a nonprofit food rescue and delivery agency serving the Greater Omaha area that has rescued over 10 million pounds of perishable food since its founding in 2013. The organization partners with local restaurants, grocery stores, caterers, and food distributors to collect excess perishable food using refrigerated trucks and delivers it the same day, free of charge, to more than 40 nonprofit agencies and community organizations that serve families, seniors, and children experiencing food insecurity. Saving Grace addresses two critical community needs—reducing food waste and combating hunger—while making nutritious produce, proteins, and dairy available to nonprofits including food pantries, missions, after-school programs, and senior centers.
