United Way of the Midlands

United Way of the Midlands is a nonprofit organization serving the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area for nearly 100 years, originally founded as the Omaha Community Chest in 1923. The organization bridges business, government, and nonprofit sectors to address social and economic disparities through funding over 100 local programs that provide essential services including food assistance, housing, healthcare, job training, childcare, and the 2-1-1 Helpline. Located at 1229 Millwork Avenue, Suite 402 in Omaha, United Way of the Midlands creates what they call a “Circle of Support” to help neighbors overcome challenges and build stronger futures across Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties.
