Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership Food Pantry

Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership (NENCAP) is a community action organization based in Pender, Nebraska, serving a 14-county region in northeast Nebraska including Antelope, Burt, Cedar, Cuming, Dakota, Dixon, Dodge, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, Thurston, Washington, and Wayne counties. The organization operates an emergency food pantry that provides free assistance to households experiencing food insecurity, offering seven-day food supplies to those awaiting food assistance benefits, with no one turned away when immediate nutritional need exists. Beyond food services, NENCAP promotes client self-sufficiency through multiple programs including WIC, the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, emergency housing and utility assistance, free tax preparation, homeless prevention services, and health and wellness initiatives across its service area.
