Blue Valley Community Action

Blue Valley Community Action is a private, non-profit organization established in 1966 that serves York County and eight surrounding counties in southeast Nebraska. Located at 3401 N Lincoln Avenue in York, the organization operates over 30 programs focused on helping low-income populations achieve self-sufficiency and eliminate the causes of poverty. In 2025, BVCA assisted 1,558 individuals in York County alone through services including financial assistance, food programs, housing support, childcare, and workforce development.
