Epworth Family Resources

Epworth Family Resources is a nonprofit social justice organization based in York, Nebraska that has served children, youth, and families across the state since its founding in 1889, originally as Mothers Jewels’ Home orphanage. The organization provides comprehensive family-centered resources including foster care and in-home family services to help families in crisis, and currently serves over 300 clients annually across 29 Nebraska counties. As a United Methodist Church mission institution, Epworth Family Resources recently transitioned to a community-based model, relocating to York First United Methodist Church to better focus resources on programming and services rather than maintaining physical facilities.
