Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry operates as a community food assistance program serving residents of East Orange and Essex County through emergency grocery distribution. The pantry is housed in the bright, airy space of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, an ELCA congregation, and is run by dedicated co-managers who serve approximately 30 to 40 people monthly with pre-packed bags of groceries and other food items. The pantry is part of MEND, a faith-based coalition of multiple food pantries across Essex County that provides emergency food assistance, social services referrals, and community support to individuals and families in crisis.
