Jewish Family Service Charlotte Shak Food Pantry

The JFS Charlotte Shak Food Pantry, operated by Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey, has served the community in Elizabeth since 1986. This nonprofit pantry provides kosher groceries, fresh produce, toiletries, and baby and feminine products to Union County residents facing food insecurity, serving approximately 10,000 individuals annually. The organization also operates Tomchei Shabbos of Elizabeth, Hillside, and Springfield, which distributes Shabbos and Jewish Holiday food packages twice monthly.
