La Casa de Don Pedro – Summer Meals Site

La Casa de Don Pedro is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 that serves approximately 50,000 residents annually in Newark and Essex County. As a community-based development corporation, La Casa de Don Pedro operates multiple programs across early childhood education, youth enrichment, family services, adult education, and neighborhood development, including this summer meals distribution site. The organization is recognized as the largest Latinx-led nonprofit organization in New Jersey and is dedicated to fostering self-sufficiency, empowerment, and neighborhood revitalization throughout greater Newark.
