St. James Social Service Emergency Food Pantry

St. James Social Service Emergency Food Pantry, established in 1996, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Newark's Central Ward dedicated to supporting families through food assistance and community services. The emergency food pantry distributes monthly groceries to thousands of families annually, while also operating a soup kitchen and providing additional services including housing assistance, HIV counseling, and homeless prevention programs to low-income families, children, the elderly, and homeless individuals in the Newark area.
