Oheb Shalom Congregation – Bobrow Kosher Food Pantry

The Bobrow Kosher Food Pantry, operated by Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange, NJ, has served the community for over 35 years, providing non-perishable kosher food to approximately 200 households monthly. The pantry addresses food insecurity in Essex County through an entirely volunteer-staffed operation and accepts monetary donations, which allow them to purchase food at discounted rates. Oheb Shalom Congregation itself is a Conservative Jewish synagogue established in 1860 that emphasizes social justice and community repair as core values of its mission.
