The Food Pantry at Our Lady of Sorrows

The Food Pantry at Our Lady of Sorrows is a volunteer-led food pantry based at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange that serves 200-300 families on a twice-monthly basis. The pantry provides full bags of grocery staples, fresh produce, bread, and occasional personal hygiene items to supplement food supply and alleviate food insecurity in the community. It is a member of MEND (Meeting Emergency Needs with Dignity), a network of over 20 interfaith food pantries across Essex County, and relies on donations from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Catholic Charities, and local individuals and organizations.
