The Peoples Pantry

The People's Pantry is a choice model food pantry that originated in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, when the organization discovered Ocean County's struggle with food insecurity. The pantry provides residents struggling with food insecurity access to a range of food items that vary week to week based on donations, operating as a choice model where individuals can select the foods that best meet their nutritional needs.
