Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)

Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) serves the hungry in Trenton and the Greater Mercer County region, offering nourishing meals to all, no questions asked. Founded 40 years ago in a church basement, TASK has expanded to serve more than 8,000 meals each week at its main location and over 33 community meal sites throughout the area. Beyond meals, TASK provides adult education programs, job training, case management services, and essentials including clothing, hygiene items, and free access to computers and phones, helping patrons achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.
