Smart Meals

Smart Meals, operated by the Albany Damien Center, is an education program that teaches individuals and families living with HIV and AIDS how to improve their nutritional well-being. The program provides nutritious meals, health education and resources aimed at improving diet quality, food safety, physical activity, shopping behavior and resource management through a community meal program, grocery education program with weekly food bags, and monthly food vouchers for use at local retailers.
