Mayor’s Fund to Advance NYC/NYC Department of Probation Food Pantry
About
The NeON Nutrition Kitchen in Brooklyn is a community food pantry operated by the NYC Department of Probation in partnership with Food Bank For New York City and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. The program provides free groceries, nutritious recipes, and nutrition education to community members, particularly those transitioning from the justice system, though it welcomes everyone regardless of probation status. The initiative is part of the Department's broader Neighborhood Opportunity Network (NeON), which serves residents across all five boroughs.
